It’s 1899 and escaped prisoner-of-war Winston Churchill is a fiendish spot of bother: lost in the African savannah, wanted ‘Dead or Alive’ and hounded by the scathing words of his dead father. Will he surrender, or fight on - whatever the cost? Experience the coming-of-age of Britain's greatest hero in this gripping true story of adventure, audacity and Imperial folly.

"There is only so long a young man will be regarded as having promise before it must be fulfilled. Now is that moment."  - Winston Churchill

A new solo-show written and performed by 2012 nominee for the Writer's Guild of Great Britain 'Best Play' award, Freddie Machin. Directed by John Walton, whose previous work includes the 2010 sensation Dr Brown Because (★★★★ in The Times, The Sunday Times, The Independent, The List and TimeOut). Set, costume and lighting by the 2012 Off-West-End Award winning designer Martin Thomas.
